WEST Australian Premier Colin Barnett has refused to declare his confidence in the $4.4 billion Oakajee port and rail project.
And rumours abound of the likelihood that alternative plans are being canvassed.

The infrastructure project, which will unlock the emerging Mid-West iron ore province, is a priority of Mr Barnett's, but when asked by The Weekend Australian yesterday whether he was confident it would go ahead, he responded with "no comment".
