IMO the Corby case is made more compelling by the fact that this could easily be your daughter.The media are portraying her as innocent and sleighted by ignorant foreigners and the fact that she is pretty and she doesn't look like a druggie helps her case.

Douglas Wood on the other hand is there knowing the risks probably for financial gain and sounds very naive judging by his comments about Washington being just as dangerous as Iraq.
