donhoop, you've listed many things that are worthy of discussion which I'm sure would have been discussed if people felt more compassion for him. It appears that if anyone is going to Iraq it would be better to be carrying a Phillipine or Italian passport. With regards the Corby discussion being more about the justice system than her, it still astounds me that after so much time some people still are completely ignorant of how it actually works. With regards to the huge salaries in Iraq, what you quoted is hardly large, it is easily gotten elsewhere in the world with no such risk, money could not be his only motive for going there. Maybe as his supporters have said, he wanted to do something positive for Iraq, and if so he deserves compassion.
