Could we see it tonight ? A bad payrolls tonight number could see another big sell off. Even a really good number could see the same result as the USD will get stronger and oil may fall further. Also, a good no. could raise the prospects/perceptions of another Fed rate rise which will be a concern for traders against a global backdrop of other Central Bank's easing and falling GDP growth. Apple is also a big drag on US markets, down now well below 100 and heading towards it's 12 month low of 92. Apple's share price has fallen 20% in the last month. Big moves either way tonight wouldn't surprise me but I won't be buying any stocks today because a rebound isn't that likely.
