Chuckey: the Dow has been drifting sideways, with no immediate change in sight. other than when it does, it could go either way.
you are saying, go short! short what, the Dow? I am not as sure as you are, that it is ready to declare itself beaten. among aussie shares, there are not many with a serious downward bias. WOW looks weak on chart, but it is not a big mover, as a rule. 1150 looks within reach and in the case of a real bearish scenario overseas, maybe 1100.
I can't see much else. NCP I suppose would show some loyalty to the Dow, but I wouldn't trust them to perform in a significant fashion. look at that sideways drift for one whole entire month!
prefer to watch all this unfold calmly, but in readiness to hit the panic button when the time comes.
