Yeah … well … I reckon the market had a brain spasm do do that.

Most of the FANGS have reported well in the current quarterly season, but Amazon did not, much of the mid sized tech sector are struggling, as are small regional and some bigger banks.

I had a look at over 50 years of DOW performance this afternoon. I am pretty sure no meaningful, sustained rise has ever happened without there having being a double bottom at or below the monthly 50 bma.

The October 2022 low has not been tested yet.

Are you inclined to have a look at that?
