The markets are irrational, so could do anything.

The test is the man on the street in the U.S. They are doing it real tough, and the scary thing is we couldn't afford to buy equal real estate there compared to here (anywhere decent), it's still way too high. I don't know how they're going to get out of this debt (bad enough here!)

If people have borrowed/leveraged money in the markets, then it's going to be under pressure. Given that people don't have much any more, unless the govt's buying then why is it going up??
