I think the risk/reward of being short here is far too high. The market has factored in as much bad news as I can remember. In all bear markets we have had significant and ugly rally's which really squeeze the shorts so bad.
Our SPI has suffered badly as a result of the re-weighting of the index and the poor performance of the banks.
I see some opportunity to buy the SPI today around 2940-45
