I agree with those reasons Hotfire but with the exception of the AUD, the others have been round for several months now. Stocks like JBH and HVN that would benefit from a strong AUD are also getting smashed.

I think many people are simply fed up with the FED Govt. still 2+ more years before an election. There certainly isn?t any prospect of positive announcements for the market over that time.

It's been this way for a while, market fundamentals have been tossed out the door. Currently the market is completely ignoring the DOW and the positive sentiment coming out of the US. Pity local investors never ignore the negative sentiment.
