Is there any details of the lost Gov jobs. Is it like in Aust where Gov is top heavy and what was shed were probably willing redundancies, ridding of dead wood. I've never know Aust Gov workers to leave 'empty handed'. As you say, it's sometimes a good thing.
No offense to Aust Gov workers, some are worth their pay.
