0900 [Dow Jones] Futures market tips 4-point rise for S&P/ASX 200, last at 4170.8, expecting bounce from worst fall in two years yesterday, but difficult to see where buying support will come from ahead of Easter long weekend during shortened trading session. Overnight U.S. markets moved little, DJIA off 14.49 points or 0.1% to 10456.02, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq finished flat. AUD/USD fell to 6-week lows overnight, touching 0.7700 cents. In London, BHP Billiton (BHP.AU) fell 3.1% and Rio Tinto (RIO.AU) lost 2.0%, with base metals weak, copper off 2.4%. (WEL)
