0819 [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: UBS upgrades Iluka Resources (ILU.AU) to Buy from Neutral on outlook for zircon demand. "We believe a restocking cycle in zircon in 2H 2009 and 1H 2010 will lead to the market rerating ILU and causing the share price discount to NPV to close," UBS says. Says Iluka's 1H09 underlying net profit was ahead of expectations once a number of one-off items were stripped out. Says Iluka looks set to break even in 2H and that its net debt at year-end is likely to be about A$466 million, suggesting it won't need more equity or cash injections. Target price upped to A$4.40 from A$3.30. Iluka last traded at A$3.65. (APW)
