Nah Tabitha the market leads does not follow.
The market is now trending sideways with frequent Up and Down oscillations and we all like those :) with err on the upside.
The markets have already factored in Bad News, the only thing that can upset it now is:
1. The degree of bad news (watch for Unemployment figures - release Thursday) and
2. Any unforseen bad news eg Deravitives, Currency devaluations, increase in LIBOR [TED spread].
