re: global market crash, thing of the past... People seem to forget the Nikkei Dow was 40,000 in 1990. Look where that fell to. Is there a good reason why the Dow won't retest the 1987 high around 2700?
Throw in phenomenal deficits, terrorism, soaring oil prices that go higher than anyone predicts, a derivatives disaster or two or three, a major bank collapse....
Hmmmn..
Maybe there could be a case for gold at $2000/ounce??
