I guess the sorry thing is that nowadays you need a chart which goes back more than 5 years in order to see where the markets might land.....

I reckon that big corrections roughly take about 5 years off market highs, so that puts my guess around 9000 for the Dow and 4000 for the Ords.... fwiw


i.e. I can't find much wrong with your 'worst case' - and of course I got laughed at months ago when I said such a thing - wish I could remember who the clown posters were who had a go at me....
