Can I suggest that if you really want to understand markets, you need to study them.

Any trading on NEWS events will destroy you. Markets don't work that way. Turn off the NEWS, don't read the papers, don't talk to your neighbours or your broker.

You need to be able to look back 100 years and see what patterns develop and what follows.

If you have charting software I think you need a "show me" option, where you can say:-

Show me all the 300+ pts up days.

Show me what 3 or 4 or 5 red candles mean after a good move up.

Show me all the 9 consecutive weeks up.

Etc etc.

The Bible says (and I'm not religious) that what will be, has been, and there is nothing new under the sun.
