I think the oz bottom will be when the US dollar finally gives up it's illogical advances and there is a flight to gold, then oil and other commodities, spurring on Australian resource stocks.

I see a few more spectacular bank crashes or near crashes in Europe - though that will have little effect on most US investors who don't actually know Europe exists and think "the Euro is a currency made up for "Euro-Disney" - which is somewhere in Texas!!" and the exchange rate with the "pound" is a measure of how much cheese costs.
