In NY & London bears attacked & sent SP gapping down ~6% on relatively low volume: 3rd highest quarter loss by GM,reaction to latest US unemployment figure of 5.7%, media reports of Shane Oliver spruking recession in Australia.
Bears appear to have aligned all the pieces of the jigsaw atm - H&S pattern etc. On Yahoo & investopedia BHP's chart is being used to demonstrate bearish candlestick patterns [bear engulfing] after touching the top of a downtrend line joining recent highs.
Nevertheless interesting that the link below also has a readers' poll showing that 92% are bullish on BHP & only 8% are bearish. Now what is that telling us?
