Tbh the whole situation is morbidly amusing.
1) Have ESG psycho's running around not grasping the concept that renewables are not being constructed fast enough to handle the "gap" between growing demand and supply.
2) Stubbornly refuse to consider other alternatives such as Nuclear for decades despite solid examples (see France) that this was a mistake.
3) Stubbornly refuse to allow for any investment into Oil, Gas etc resulting in exacerbation of supply gap.
4) Demand "anywhere but here" (aka Saudi Arabia, Russia etc) do the dirty deed of building O&G supply whilst ignoring their own on-shore options they've stubbornly refused to invest in to bridge the gap between renewables catching up and O&G fading out.

And finally......act surprised Pikachu face when that supply crunch comes absolutely raining down on them. And as expected....stubbornly refuse to accept that yes the sky really is blue and supply/demand dynamics do exist and renewables are not (so far) keeping pace to bridge the gap. And deliberately ignored other options to help out the looming supply crunch for the last 5-7 years or so.

Resulting in today. Well done ESG loons.
