    What a vicious counter-productive practice: superfunds lend their shares to shorters (oh, for a fee, of course), who drive down the price and the poor superannuant sees the value of his super drop.

    I wounder whether the beneficial owners of the shares would have given consent for them to be used to shoot down the value like that. --- had they been asked, of course.
