First thumbs up courteous of OptimisticKarl! I will note that I was pretty darn optimistic this time last year, especially on the Yahoo board. It was a mix of things that got me riled up (mostly continuation of execution far below communicated expectations, the rampy glee club, and excessive executive compensation tied to weak performance targets). Karl’s actually a rather optimistic, cheery chap when he’s not piqued by the glee club.
In the end, I have high expectations for peanut…even if they aren’t as high as some around here. Otherwise, I’d put my money elsewhere.
