The story of the sp has however never been about the facts, it has always been irrational and driven by sentiment and speculation.

The numbers of potential sellers is largely a function of the number of holders. The number of potential new buyers...well the deafening sound of this forum in the past few weeks is probably pretty indicative. Also I don't think there will be too many eagerly reading the latest issue of Fatties and rushing to place their orders the next day. No, there is a small fry buyers strike, and the cashed up big fish are prepared to wait for deeper value, or stick to the big end resource bargains.

The story is intact, the press releases are testament to that, and the mostly upward moves on POE are based on the same story. Just more sellers than buyers atm on the asx, asx sellers losing patience, which is making buyers even more patient. but hey we know how fast it can move up once there is a trigger.

Sold some around 55 recently, but not selling in low 50's or worse in current circumstances (current all ords, 95 oil, rising prdn and POE sp strong).
