I have been keeping an eye on a direct action campaign against Downer to persuade them to ditch their Letter of Award to build and operate Adani's Carmichael mine. Along with other disruptive actions, this campaign has already managed to shut down the 2 Downer HQ buildings in Sydney with staff being told not to come in to work.
But it seems, despite all of the science, and all Australians who want to save our Great Barrier Reef - Downer have recently re-affirmed this Letter of Award with Adani.
The campaign to stop Adani is gaining momentum all around the country, and Downer seems to now be firmly cemented in their sights.
What will this mean for Downer?
