    I think re-opening the case has more to do with politics and less to do with Corby.
    A retrial is only going to help if they have come up with new and critical evidence, and so far we have not heard of any arrests or breakthroughs.
    By re-opening the trial, the onus has been firmly pushed back on to the Australian authorities and public in general, and if no new evidence eventuates it is unlikely that the verdict will change, but this time it will be clearly not the fault of the Indonesian justice system, but the failure of her fellow Australian's who were given every chance to save her.
    Looking further ahead, by displaying extra consideration in relation to Corby, it is going to be even more difficult for anyone to criticise the Indonesian system when they hand down multiple death sentences for the Bali 9.
