I was lucky enough to have worked at the tunnel face with a number of those snowy men. Hard workers hard men some simply mad knife carrying crazy but you work hard beside then and the respect was amazing.
8/10 of todays workers would have run home to mommy if they had to work like that.
I loved it, they're all dead now none lived to an old age
