This just hot off the press from one of the local english language business papers in Beijing:

"Economy overall smooth running of the basic situation has not changed, structural optimization basic trend has not changed, improve people's livelihood and social stability of the overall situation has not changed. Employment, consumption and a series of data shows that China's macro-control has made new achievements, the economy is maintained at a reasonable range and not changed."

See... nothing to worry about.
