Most of us now prefer the XJO which is 200 stocks.
The XAO has been phased out in favour of XJO, as the XJO has international standard. They reduced the wieghting of stocks like ncp that have large chunks held by certain families who dont trade, and tls which is 50% not traded , held by govt, etc,.
The XJO is a better representation of our market.
