Not from GPs. Most GPs are scared of the huge amount of paperwork that's involved in prescribing MM. So it's patient driven - the chronic pain market is huge, and conventional medicine offers very little other than opiates.
From reading actual patient reports (as opposed to research), my impression is that CBD oil doesn't do much for most people in pain. But smoking weed definitely does. So it's the THC.
