As to your "WHC Doesn't justify a multi billion dollar cap" you do realise they have the better part of $3b cash sitting in the bank right? Do you think it should be valued at less than it's cash in the bank? I still think you don't fundamentally grasp company valuations.

How did the whole "growth company" play work for them? Someone with 1 share in WHC has made more in dividends than afterpay has made in it's entire existence. A growth stock for sure, just growing a negative balance.

So glad a select few of us could do simple sums like "tonnes X price - cost".

A stock doesn't have to grow to be a good stock. Some of the best stocks keep the same amount of assets and just become good at what they do, paying out earnings higher than the interest on the equity would earn you sitting somewhere else.
