Dude you are not getting it... a stock is ONLY worth what someone is willing to pay for it! An equity is only undervalued if people are willing to pay more for it, if they're not then it's complete speculation - regardless if you "believe" it is worth more.
The company and its shareholders voted to proceed with the buyback as they agreed it would bring value to the company over time, which by lessening the shares on issue it will do but it's definitely not going to guarantee the stock will not go down in price.
So again.. the only true value of a stock is the price movement at any given time regardless of any fundamentals. Learn to understand price movements and you will not be whinging and complaining why you are losing money!
