Phased out in Australia, however if you look at global energy usage although coal is going down in percentage terms, it's use is increasing in terms of tonnes being consumed.
i.e 100% coal of energy at 100kw is 100kw.
90% coal at 1,000kw is 900kw.
So yes, it's percentage share is decreasing but it's overall use is increasing. So when you look at the statistics, coal is actually still a growing market.
