It is understood that Sev.en paid $65 million for the royalties in a deal that was signed this week. It spells the end of a sale process that Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has been running internally since early 2022, and was first revealed by Street Talk.
A flyer circulated to potential buyers at the time said, the royalty cheques were worth $56 million (or 19.5 per cent) for the September quarter, from $308 million in gross sales.
