KAH also owns 38% of North River Resources (AIM:NRRP). NRRP has a bundle of exploration licenses in Africa. The Mavusi Project is particularly interesting:

In February 2011, North River entered a JV agreement with Jacana Resources whereby Jacana can earn an initial 51% of the Mavusi Project licence. Further expenditure commitments by Jacana can earn up to a maximum 80%.

Janana (a private Au Co) is a graphite and uranium explorer. It was acquired by Syrah Resources (ASX:SYR) in November 2011. (This was in fact a new float using SYR as the shell who's business was jettisoned.) The new managing director of SYR is Paul Kehoe who is the existing Managing Director of Jacana Resources. SYR just did a Cap Raising of $2m. Almost all the new shares were acquired by Paul Kehoe who currently hold 12% of SYR.

Profile: Paul Kehoe has been Managing Director of Syrah Resources Limited since December 2011. Mr. Kehoe also is Managing Director of Jacana Resources Limited. He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and restructuring with firms such as Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Grant Thornton in senior management roles. He also Performed business development roles with listed ASX explorers. Mr. Kehoe is a qualified geologist with first class honours in geosciences and Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business degree.
