Trump never pushed for a gold standard nor does he ever intent to, he's increased defecits in America by lowering taxes and not cutting (or even increasing spend).
Trump and Biden are no different to each other economcially in the scheme of things. Both have their own agendas, Bidens is to print big and spend, Trumps is to cut taxes more and print.
The days of a gold standard are likely gone unless the US implodes but I doubt the Fed will let that happen, and if it does, I think gold standards will still be overlooked and we won't revert back.
