Two things in particular ought to provide management with the incentive to drill asap:
(1) there will be an election next year and change of government- it's imperative that QPN management get this up and running asap as a new government could mean a change in the rules
(2) SKKMIGAS the regulatory authority are currently reviewing all foreign juniors in Indonesia- if management of foreign companies fail to fulfill minimum agreed spend requirements and work commitments for seismic and drill holes they run the risk of losing their ground and being blacklisted
By the way it seems few people on HC are aware that the head of SKKMIGAS was busted recently with about $US 900k in a golf bag at his home recently by the KPK (Corruption Commision) and has been relieved of his position and charged with corruption,also charged were Singaporean oil traders who gave him the money.Now KPK is reviewing grants of leases for oil and gas over the last few years.
