Hi folks
...and importantly...the barging option, a lazy 4 or 5KM to Cockatoo Island, will use the...
'SHIPLOADER'... that just happens to be available...
on Cockatoo following closure in about 18 months from reports given.
It means that once the Isthmus is drilled and the resource will 'again'(yawn..yes more resource estimate updates folks;) be increased, DSO direct from Isthmus can be barged direct to the shiploader....and then off to market.
Please correct me if i'm wrong here folks, but it seems to me that preparation for this operation, assuming the companys own recently given target of March 2012 for enviro approval, should mean the Isthmus DSO could be on the boats in 2012.
This for me is 'another' major comparative advantage with PLV, as this gives the company opportunities to get to market relatively easily before other aspects of the operation and infrastructure need to be built.
