Depends if it is sharemilkers, sharefarmers, owner-operators, small aggregators or the one large aggregator that is considering the walk. Suspect it is sharemilkers where capital in the game is low but they are highly dependent on farmgate milk price for a wage. When you start to see the banking community foreclosing on dairy farms then you know the problem is real.
AHF will be semi-protected from this when it settles on CDC but like any business it has to manage market risk.
Good alarmist article though, should scare the socks off those that cant figure it out. I am fairly sure the editor-in-chief of that journo duo would be proud of them and probably offered them a dinner-for-2 snack box at MacDonalds.
