How do we know that it's not the Pensador stake holders keeping a lid on the share price. After all, if they are to eventually become CVI shareholders (as has been interpreted from the announcement) then it is in their best interest to maintain a low share price so when CVI do a "share-swap" Pensador receive a larger number due to a lower price.
Hopefully though MS learnt from the Global saga and put in some sort of anti-manipulation clause.
