I have traded DOWR but am not a holder at present.For what it is worth Consensus price
estimate for DOW is $5.37 and 96c for SPO.DOW has had a stagnant EPS for a few years
and the share price moved up before the new issue based on hopes of participation in a
infrastructure "boom".The new issue was obviously not well supported by the top 20 holders
who hold over 88% of DOW. "as an example, if DOW can get to $6.50 and a rights holder receives 55 cents per right, this represents a fairly reasonable payback on something that only cost around 1 cent. Certainly worth the (good) chance of a 100% loss if no RSB premium is received"
Yes it will be a good ROI if it comes in..Looks a remote possibility with the Dow down 65 points but who knows.One thing is certain-you won't be able to buy DOWR after Tuesday.
