Statsman you just don't get it do you. You accuse me of not making "nice" comments when you continue to find humour in the situation where shareholders lose their money. Talk down Duncan and his company all you like as there is ample justification for your opinion. Go ahead and advise people to sell stating your reasons. This is all rational behaviour but merely hoping for the demise of a company displays a total disregard for anyone holding shares. Do you consider this to be "nice"?

The stock market is full of disreputable operators and not just at the penny dreadful level. Despite the risk involved (and possibly because of it) this company can still be traded successfully at certain times. There are many forms of investing.

I certainly wouldn't be recommending JRV as a retirement nestegg but I'm sure there are plenty out there still hoping for a 'rabbit from the hat' deal. Mr Delta comes too mind. And who knows, stranger things have happened. I, for one, (despite not being very 'nice') would be more than happy to see the long term holders get some returns.
