Forward looking updates have not been helpful for this company. 95% of the useful information has been from the objective past numbers (not the rubbery future ones).

Little point demanding an update. Management can't update when they don't know. Circumstances are most likely not in their control and its a matter of choosing between 2 or 3 bad choices.
