Found Not guilty on all counts Dr Andrew Katelaris walks free after presenting a medical necessity defence over three and a half weeks.
The NOT GUILTY findings were found on the following summary of charges
1) Possess prohibited drug - Cannabis.
2) Supply a prohibited drug - Cannabis
3) Supply a prohibited drug not less than large commercial quantity - 8 liters of cannabis oil
4) Deal with property procedes of crime - value of the property less than $100,000.00.
Penalty for indictment was up to 20 years in gaol.
Huge Win...and major changes in the Federal Australian Law.
