    It's fascinating, isn't it?

    We are on the same page from a preventative point of view. I've been doing 2 or 3 3-day fasts for the last few years (the first 24 hours are typically the more difficult ones - after that you feel oddly sharp, switched-on and less lethargic and hungry than you might think. I also "miss" chewing lol - ice usually helps).

    The super layman theory being that whilst your normal cells can survive extended periods without sustenance (food), any cancerous or mutated/abnormal cells cannot and die out much sooner.

    I remember in an interview with Dom D'Agostino someone asked him what he would do if he was diagnosed with cancer and he said immediately start fasting and sit in a hyperbaric chamber for as long as possible before starting specialist recommended treatment.
    He also broke his deadlift PB on day 10 of a 10 day fast from memory. Pretty interesting guy.

    Oh and definitely familiar with the Mason rabbit-holes! I followed the Wombat rabbit-hole here from another forum and have been buying regularly since $1.
