In fact I did a science degree for the specific purpose of finding out whether, as a member of Greenpeace, their information on climate was correct. I found out it was not and that the hypothesis of CO2 causing global warming is not supported by evidence. Carl, in fact is cherry picking data by just referring to examples of warm weather and not the record breaking cold weather - some of which have been broken all over the world, including Australia over the last 5 years. Russia's heat wave, for example, was due to a blocking system (meteorology speak) not CO2. Karl needs to study climate change like I did if he's going to put himself up as an expert because his article is riddled with mistakes and no scientific evidence. For example NOAA claim that the estimated (and that's all it can be) CO2 values prior to the Industrial revolution were more that Karl's, plus only direct measurements have been recorded since 1959. I could go on and on
