If you have seen Anwar in News Reports and videos, he already looks like he is on his last legs despite being 20 years younger.
Dr Mahathir has said he will rebuild the economy before handing over the reigns. ....won't happen tomorrow. What is unsaid is that he will need to consolidate support for Bersatu so that he doesn't also hand over PKR voting majority to DAP in the change. I don't enough about the system to comment about how he can manage that.
Wikipedia has the number of seats held as 26 for Bersatu, 50 PKR and 42 DAP. Looks like an impossible.job. Then again as a minority, Bersatu managed to snag the Prime Minister postion on Mahathir's star status. Actually on these numbers i dont know he outvoted DAP and PKR to keep Lynas running.
