Reading between the lines, the clincher that allows Dr M to get away with getting back into bed with UMNO members is that Najib Razak and others’ corruption trial must proceed without impediment. It seems DAP will be left out in the cold in any event, as they can’t stomach any version of UMNO and vice versa. I doubt Dr M will have anyone from UMNO or DAP in his new personalised ministry.
I also noticed a comment from a chief govt bureaucratic guy whose title I forget mentioning he was contacting all govt dept civil service heads to ensure business continued as normal without their respective minister... so AELB should be getting the licence in the post ready for Amanda’s big day on Friday
