@ausheds We actually more or less stopped testing, only testing the ones admitted to the hospital with symptoms. Indications are the 'real' number is upward of 500,000, or 5% of the population. This is an estimate from the health ministry, and again indicates a huge background number.
Lock down has never been even an option in Sweden, as freedom of movement is a constitutional right. Either way, the attitude towards covid is more relaxed, even if gatherings over 50 people has been banned. We also have a 'natural' social distancing as long as it remains winter..
