Yes, this could be seen as grovelIing, but I suspect that the banner and class photo were a political exercise. They are acknowledging the Minister's visit, which contrasts them being ignored by the his predecessor. However, none of the damage or corrupt restrictions on Lynas' business have been rescinded by this government government to date. The $100M tailings impoundment bribe is still in play, the Condisoil ban has not been reversed, ore imports are capped and soon to be banned, processing is capped and the requirement to soon shut down half the plant is still written into the operating licence. Unless numerous things change, half of those in the photo are in line to lose their jobs.
