23.05.21 : THE MALAYSIAN PM EXPLAINED WHY THE COUNTRY CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE A COMPLETE LOCKDOWN WHICH INCLUDE THE CLOSURE OF ALL INDUSTRIAL PLANTS LIKE IN MCO 1. This first lockdown caused a loss of 2.4 billion ringgit per day and a loss of a huge numbers of jobs.
Any further lockdown even in EMCO (Enhenced Movement Control Order) will no longer include the closure of large industrial plants.
The Borneo Post "KUALA LUMPUR (May 23): Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin defended the government’s decision of not implementing a full-scale lockdown as the first movement control order (MCO) implemented on March 18 last year almost led to a total economic collapse."
