2030??? Do you invest on what may happen in 2030? My horizon is about 1 year. I have many investments that I have held 5 and 10 and more years. When I make buy sell decision I only look 1 year out. Read a few investment books the most common recommendation for time frame is 1 to 2 years. 2030 is interesting but who knows what world will look like then. I bought Intel and Amazon over 20 years ago and still own them today. I have been in and out of them both Multiple times. Lynas may have a great future but i will make investment decision based on what I think the company SP will do over next 6 months. Some times this has caused me to miss big gains but I have never had a big loss which many of the people that have held for 10 years still have unless they bought a lot more when price was low. Still i do not think their annualized gain looks so good unless they bought 20 X what they had 10 years ago right at low.
